Job Description - Customer Service Co-ordinator

Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) or Full-time in the office

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £12.60ph

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our clients team initially on a short term contract to start Monday 12th May until initially the end of June 2025, at that point there will be a review with a possible extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with customers to confirm their order and make the necessary checks around potential delivery issues, acting as the liaison between the customer and the courier company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers both over the phone, email and webchat.
  • Confirm product measurements and requirements with customers.
  • Identify and address potential delivery issues.
  • Act as the intermediary between customers and couriers to resolve any delivery-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery processes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service is essential ideally within a phone based role.
  • Knowledge or experience in Logistics is a plus but certainly not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
