Job Description - Customer Service Support Advisor

FJA are looking to recruit a Customer Service Support Advisor on behalf of our client based in Heywood. Joining a hugely successful and growing team, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships and managing general customer service and admin tasks.

Customer Service Support Advisor responsibilities;

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently
  • Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and availability - a keen eye for numbers would be an advantage
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell / up sell additional products where appropriate
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delivery issues
  • Accurately update the database with all customer interactions and transactions
  • Liaise with suppliers to check on stock, prices and deliveries
  • Assist on the customer trade counter as and when required
  • Handle all telephone queries


The successful Customer Service Support Advisor must have:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong numerical skills - a keen eye for numbers is a must!
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and be a team player
  • Previous experience of order processing / liaising with suppliers would be a huge advantage
