Cyber Security Reporting and Performance Analyst

Urgent requirement for a Cyber Security Reporting and Performance Analyst to join a leading UK insurance company.

Length: 6 months

Location: 2 days a week in London

IR35 Status: Inside

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports that track cybersecurity performance, risk metrics, and compliance status.
• Analyse security incident trends, vulnerability management data, and threat intelligence to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to define and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Automate data collection and reporting processes using tools such as Power BI, Tableau & Excel.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security controls and initiatives.
• Assist in the development of executive-level cybersecurity reports and board presentations.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in cybersecurity metrics and reporting.
• Support the CISO Change portfolio, working with programme/project teams to manage project milestones and resolve issues that may compromise delivery.
• Facilitate and present content for governance forums and communicate actions.

Required Skills/Competencies

• Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
• Knowledge of security standards / frameworks, e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks, PCI.
• Demonstrate strong competence in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Share Point.
