About the Role

Newstaff Employment Services are looking for a reliable and professional D1 Mini Bus Driver to join our transport team. You will play a key role in providing safe, efficient, and friendly transport services for children, adults, and the elderly across the borough.

Your primary responsibility will be to transport passengers to and from schools, community centres, and other locations as required, ensuring a high standard of care and customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a minibus to transport passengers in line with designated schedules.

Assist passengers in boarding and alighting from the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

Maintain accurate journey logs and report incidents promptly.

Adhere to all road safety regulations policies.

Provide excellent customer service to passengers and carers.

Work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required.

Requirements:

? Full UK Driving Licence with Category D1 entitlement

? Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

? Previous experience driving minibuses or passenger transport vehicles (preferred)

? Strong awareness of safeguarding and disability awareness

? Good knowledge of Luton and surrounding areas

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
