Job Title: Damp and Mould Surveyor (x2 Positions)
Location: Southwark, London
Rate: £28 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 3+ Months (Potential for Extension)
Mileage: Paid (Own Vehicle Required)

Southwark Council is seeking x2 Damp and Mould Surveyors to join their dedicated Damp Team. The successful candidates will play a key role in addressing damp and mould issues within Southwark's social housing estates, conducting surveys, and providing technical expertise to support remediation efforts. You will also be required to undertake ad hoc inspections for other areas of the service.

• Conduct damp and mould surveys on various properties within the borough.

• Perform ad hoc inspections as required across different service areas.

• Provide professional recommendations for damp and mould remediation.

• Ensure all inspections and surveys comply with health and safety standards.

• Report findings and assist in managing works to address issues identified during surveys.

• HNC in Building Surveying (or equivalent qualification).

• Demonstrable experience in damp and mould surveying.

• Full UK driving license with own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed).

• Strong ability to produce detailed reports and technical recommendations.

• £28 per hour (Umbrella).

• 3+ month contract with the potential for extension.
