Data Analyst

Agilis Search is currently partnering with an established and friendly business in Felixstowe who are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their evolving IT function on a temporary basis. This is initially on a rolling temporary contract.

You will be analytically minded and comfortable with handling and organising large sets of data to develop high quality information reports to facilitate an informed decision making process across the business and ultimately turning data into actionable insight.

Experience Required:

Proven experience in an analytical role, with a solid exposure to data analysis and reporting;

• Developing and delivering high quality MI/BI reporting solutions in order to equip management with the necessary data/analysis to enable timely, data driven decision making;
• Experience of data gathering, data manipulation, data discovery and data profiling;
• Familiarity with the production of data analysis outputs such as profiling reports and data quality reports;
• Ability to understand the challenges faced by the organisation and recommend data visualisation and dashboard approaches to help address business needs;
• Strong communication skills and a firm understanding of the importance of stakeholder engagement to gather requirements;
• Strong SQL knowledge;
• Highly organised and efficient possessing the ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy;
• Any exposure to Data Analysis tools including SQL Server reporting services, excel and business intelligence visualisation tools would be a bonus.
