We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Data Analyst to join a Local Authority based in Berkshire on an interim contract.

?? Location: Berkshire (Hybrid - 2 days on-site per week)
?? Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
?? Contract: Interim, Full-Time

?? Role Overview:

As a Data Analyst, you will support the council's Adult Social Care and Housing departments by providing insight-driven reporting, data analysis and performance intelligence. This role plays a key part in driving service improvement and evidence-based decision-making.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, analyse, and interpret complex datasets to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports using tools like Power BI and Excel.
• Collaborate with Adult Social Care and Housing teams to identify data needs and create tailored reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with GDPR and other regulatory standards.
• Work closely with service leads to interpret and communicate data insights clearly.

?? Essential Requirements - You Must Have:

• Strong experience working as a Data Analyst within a UK Local Authority.
• Hands-on knowledge of data related to Adult Social Care and Housing - this is a must.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and performance frameworks within public sector services.
• Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

?? Additional Information:

• This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week on-site in Berkshire.
• Immediate start preferred.
