iO Associates is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and optimize cloud-based data pipelines for a fast-growing analytics firm specializing in eCommerce. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Python, PySpark, and DBT to transform raw data into actionable insights for global brands.

Required

• 5+ years' experience in data engineering with strong Python/PySpark skills
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP preferred)
• Develop and Maintain DBT Models, build modular, tested, and well-documented DBT models to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets.
• Optimize SQL Transformations write efficient SQL logic within DBT models to improve performance and maintainability across large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business needs

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for high-volume eCommerce data
• Implement efficient data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Develop robust data models and ensure data quality through validation processes
• Optimize pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver reliable datasets for business intelligence
