Data Governance Team Leader

A successful services business is seeking a Data Governance Team Leader to join the team in the Chesterfield area for a fixed term contract.

Your Role
While in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating processes across multiple systems to ensure data availability meets deadlines and maintains expected performance levels
• Ensuring timely and accurate handling of both master and transactional data, with all necessary controls and reconciliations completed before any reporting or analysis begins
• Preparing and maintaining schedules to support compliance with KPIs in line with critical timelines and ensure the fulfilment of SLAs with data providers
• Communicating with suppliers to quickly identify and resolve customer-related issues
• Implementing and executing approved process improvements to enhance overall performance in terms of service, cost, and quality
• Delivering data and reports as agreed with relevant parties
• Maintaining a current and accurate catalogue of tasks, timings, and end-user procedures
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager

You MUST Have

• Experience in utilising key data warehouses including SAP BW, SAP RE, PCM, MCS & BPS
• Knowledge of data flows that could impact on performance reporting
• Excellent understanding of master data systems and processes
• Fantastic communication and leadership skills
• Possession of a professional accounting qualification or relevant experience with this field
