Join Bury Council's Housing Repairs team as a Multi Skilled Decorator. This role involves carrying out a wide range of painting and decorating tasks related to repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment of council homes and public buildings. The ideal candidate will be part of the Direct Works - Responsive and Planned Repairs and Voids division, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer care.

• Undertake all painting, decorating, and relevant multi-skilled works as directed across various council-managed buildings.
• Support works relating to repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment.
• Support responsive and planned repairs, empty homes reinstatement, disrepair, and damp activity across council homes and public buildings.

• Time-served painting and Decorating Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• NVQ in multiskilling or relevant experience in a multi-skilling role.
• Experience in general painting and decorating and associated duties.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in the building industry and carrying out multi-skilled tasks.
• Must possess a full valid driving licence.
