Van Driver (3.5T) - Furniture Delivery
Location: Coatbridge ML5 4RY
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 40-45 hours per week
Shifts: Rotational (6:00 AM - 1:30 PM / 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Are you a reliable and hardworking driver looking for a hands-on role? We're seeking a dedicated Van Driver (3.5T) to join our client's team, delivering furniture to customers across the region. This position involves both driving and physical work, including heavy lifting, so candidates must be comfortable handling furniture throughout the delivery process.

Your Role:

Deliver furniture safely and efficiently, completing 5 to 10 drops per day
Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled with care
Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
Provide excellent customer service with a professional approach
Complete necessary paperwork and vehicle checks before and after shifts
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies

What We're Looking For:

Full UK driving license (max 6 penalty points, minimum 2 years of experience)
Previous experience in furniture or multi-drop deliveries preferred
Physically fit - ability to lift and handle heavy items
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently
Positive, customer-focused attitude with great communication skills
