Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic

Deputy Lead Science Teacher to support the leadership and development of the Science department. The successful candidate will play a key role in raising standards, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Science in leading the department and driving academic excellence.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment strategies , and departmental improvement plans
• Mentor and support colleagues, including ECTs
• Monitor student progress and implement interventions to support achievement
• Promote a culture oh high expectations and learning

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven leadership experience within the Science Department
• Strong subject knowledge in atleast on Science discipline
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
