Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher seeking a new opportunity for the upcoming academic year? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a successful secondary school in the Wirral area who are looking to appoint a qualified Design and Technology Teacher for a long-term position starting in September 2025. This role is expected to continue for the full academic year.

About the Role:

• Full-time Design and Technology Teacher position
• Teaching Engineering, Construction, and Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Delivering engaging and high-quality DT lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Planning, marking, and assessing student progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Design and Technology in UK secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge across Engineering, Construction and Food Technology
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for Design and Technology education
