Design Manager

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a multidisciplinary engineering company, in a long-term contract position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Northamptonshire.

This is a great opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project with an experienced team.

-Rate up to £480/day dependant on experience.

-Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Build and manage a team of site and office-based staff, ensuring consistent service delivery.

-Oversee responses to TQs, RFIs, EWNs; review temp/permanent works integration, materials, and fabrication; produce as-built records; support quarterly reports and reviews.

-Lead on safety, and ensure delivery meets budget, schedule, and quality targets.

-Align resources with construction needs in collaboration with the Construction Services Manager.

-Promote ASC services and support business development through client and industry engagement.

What we are looking for:

-Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related design discipline.

-Experience working on a range of infrastructure projects.

-Strong technical and site delivery skills, including detailing, contract admin, and consultant coordination.

-Prior experience on site dealing with contractors, projects in latter RIBA stages, and technical delivery.

-Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
