We are seeking a dedicated Temporary DT Teacher to join our dynamic team. Please note, you must have QTS and right to work in the UK for this post. This post is also subject to a clear DBS check on the update service. This role involves developing and enhancing the teaching of Design and Technology, raising attainment levels, and actively contributing to the wider life of the school.

• Teaching Excellence: Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to all students, ensuring your subject knowledge is current and engaging in continuous professional development.
• Student Monitoring and Support: Manage attendance and behaviour in line with school policies, maintain accurate student records, and report on student progress. Monitor uniform standards and contribute to student assessments.
• Curriculum Development: Participate in subject meetings, contribute to the planning and updating of schemes of learning, and engage in cross-curricular initiatives.
• Extracurricular Involvement: Actively contribute to the school's extracurricular programs and collaborate with community teams to enhance student achievement.
• Health and Safety: Ensure a safe learning environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
• Safeguarding: Adhere to safeguarding protocols, ensuring the welfare and safety of all students.

• Education: Graduate degree in a related subject. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience: Proven experience in secondary school teaching and understanding of curriculum design.
• Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using ICT for education.
• Attributes: Strong team player with the ability to manage work effectively and a willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community.
