Desktop Engineer

Job Title: IT Desktop Engineer - NPPV3 
Location: London
Day rate: £220-240 per day, payable to Ltd Company (Outside IR35) or Umbrella
Pay frequency: Weekly
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initially
Standard hours: 8 hours per day – Mon to Fri 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm

We are assisting a successful IT services company who are currently searching for IT Desktop Engineers with NPPV3 for IT deployment projects in London.
Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role, maintaining a calm and professional manner at all times.
Main Duties:
- Set up new user accounts, profiles and responding to password issues
- Install, configure, and support hardware, software, and network components
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for end users
- Provide technical support and training to staff on new or existing systems and best practices
- Maintain inventory and records of IT assets, issues and resolution
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of mobile phones, computer hardware & operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to stay updated with technological advancements and best practices in IT
