Desktop Rollout Engineer

Location: On site - Manchester/Livingston/Wolverhampton
Contract Length: 3 months (Initial)
Start Date: 28th August

As a Rollout Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a Windows 11 upgrade across a user base of over. You will be responsible for the hands-on rollout, ensuring minimal disruption to users and maintaining high standards of technical support throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Windows 11 across desktop and laptop devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the rollout.
• Provide on-site support to end users, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to maintain rollout schedules and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of completed upgrades and outstanding tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in desktop rollout or migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 10 and 11.
• Familiarity with imaging tools, deployment software, and endpoint management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to travel and work on-site 5 days per week.
