Detention Officers - CTC Clearance

We are currently looking for Detention Officers to join a Central GOV department on a Contract basis in Yarlswood centre or Campsfield House (as preferred)

Induction & Training will be taking place at Yarlswood Centre for all candidates prior to starting the assignment. Duration: 10 weeks training.

• Shift is 7.4 hours Shifts are on a pattern between Mon - Fri 8am - 9pm & Sat/Sun 9am -5pm
• 1 in 3 weekend working both Saturday and Sunday expected

Essential:

• Level of Clearance: CTC

• Provide case updates to residents at their request and manage portfolio

• Actively contribute towards the compiling of management reports.

• Manage resident arrival and departure lists, allocating all new arrivals to Engagement Officers

• Work closely with the Welfare Office

• Complete asylum screening interviews remotely, when required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills
