Devops Engineer

DevOps Engineer (GCP & Google SecOps) - £400/day - Outside IR35 - 6 months

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google SecOps experience to join a dynamic Cyber team within a global organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for secure cloud design, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Skills (Mandatory):

• Cloud: GCP, Google SecOps, GKE (Kubernetes), secure cloud design & cloud networking
• Kubernetes & Containerisation: Excellent understanding of Kubernetes objects, ingress/egress, deployments, Helm charts
• Strong product knowledge of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Git, and other DevOps toolsets
• Experience with Kafka and other data transportation mechanisms
• Proficiency with Ansible, Jinja templating, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, automation & deployment

Desirable (Good to Have):

• Data engineering & integrations (e.g. Single Sign-On, Active Directory)
• Terraform experience
• Strong Linux knowledge, shell scripting, Python
• Understanding of PaaS and IaaS

Rate: Up to £400 per day Outside ir35

Location: Hybrid / UK-based (x2 days London area)

Contract: Initial term with extension potential
