DevOps Engineer - Newcastle - SC Clearance Required

Location: Newcastle - 3 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the cloud security framework and architecture to meet business and performance goals.
• Develop innovative security solutions that align with the overall cloud strategy.
• Document cloud security controls and oversee the transition to managed cloud security operations.
• Apply expert proficiency in DevOps practices to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Utilize advanced proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and efficient delivery.
• Leverage strong knowledge of Git to support collaborative and secure development workflows.
• Act as a subject matter expert, guiding and mentoring the team to perform effectively.
• Lead team decision-making, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key organizational initiatives.
• Provide solutions to complex problems for both your immediate team and cross-functional groups.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge of cloud security and DevOps best practices.
• Conduct regular assessments of cloud security controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security trends, DevOps tools, and technologies to continuously evolve the framework.
