Digital Learning Coordinator
Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term

A respected Professional body is seeking a well-organised and technically confident Digital Learning Coordinator to support the delivery of its qualification programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and delivering high-quality digital learning experiences.

You will be responsible for the set-up and coordination of courses on the virtual learning environment (VLE) and virtual classroom platforms, ensuring learners and tutors have a smooth and accessible experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up courses on the VLE, including timetables, access codes, and relevant resources.

  • Configure and manage virtual classes (e.g. Teams, Webex, Zoom) according to programme schedules.

  • Collaborate with operations and digital learning teams to align class schedules and content with prepared templates.

  • Maintain course assets and ensure all learning materials are accurate, up-to-date, and well organised.

  • Provide induction and training for staff and tutors using the virtual platforms.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate where necessary.

  • Support wider team projects and initiatives as required.

Essential Experience:
  • Hands-on experience administering VLEs and virtual class platforms.

  • Experience setting up virtual classes/webinars and managing associated assets.

  • Background in adult learning or training environments (e.g. professional bodies, HE institutions, L&D teams).

Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and SharePoint.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and experience using HTML editors.

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Adaptability and comfort in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Desirable:
  • Understanding of digital pedagogy and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).

  • Experience with Moodle and webinar tools (Teams, Webex, Zoom).

Working Environment:

This is a hybrid role requiring reliable internet access and the ability to work remotely. Attendance at the London office is expected 2 days a week and for meetings. The organisation is small and collaborative, so a flexible and hands-on approach is essential.

Closing date for applications: [29th May]
Interviews to be held: [4th/5th June]

We practice a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that ensures equal opportunity for all we work with, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender. As an organisation, we encourage applications from all backgrounds and will ensure measures are met when required, to allow a fair process throughout.
