Director of Global Events

We’re looking for a Director of Global Events to lead and scale Nscale’s global events strategy across regions, audiences, and formats. This role will define where we show up, why we’re there, and how events drive real business impact — from brand authority to pipeline growth.

You’ll own the end-to-end global events function, working closely with regional leads (UK & EMEA, US, APAC), marketing, sales, and partners to ensure every event ladders back to company goals. From flagship industry conferences to developer-focused meetups, this role blends strategic vision with operational excellence.

This role sits within the Marketing leadership team and focuses on three core pillars:

• Global events strategy & prioritisation aligned to company and go-to-market goals


• Pipeline impact, ensuring events are measurable growth drivers


• Operational excellence & regional execution, enabling teams to deliver consistently at scale

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute Nscale’s global events strategy, defining which events we attend, sponsor, host, or partner on — and why


• Oversee all global events activity, from major international conferences to developer-focused and community-led events


• Work closely with regional event leads to ensure global consistency with local relevance


• Partner with demand generation and sales teams to drive MQLs and pipeline from events, with clear pre- and post-event strategies


• Define success metrics, track performance, and report on ROI across all events


• Oversee event planning from concept through execution, including messaging, content, experiences, and follow-up


• Collaborate with product, partnerships, comms, and leadership to ensure events reflect Nscale’s positioning and priorities


• Build and manage external vendor, agency, and partner relationships as needed


• Develop scalable event playbooks, processes, and frameworks to support global growth

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in global events, field marketing, or integrated marketing roles (B2B, tech, or AI preferred)


• Proven experience owning event strategy at a global level, not just execution


• Strong commercial mindset — you understand how events contribute to pipeline, MQLs, and revenue, not just brand


• Comfortable working across regions, time zones, and senior stakeholders


• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure in fast-paced environments


• A confident communicator who can align leadership, regional teams, and partners around a shared vision


• Data-driven, with experience measuring and optimising event performance


• Energised by high-ownership roles where you can build, refine, and scale


• Passionate about technology, AI, and the evolving role of events in modern go-to-market strategies
