Disaster Recovery Specialist (3-months initial) | Yorkshire (Hybrid) | Day rate £450 Outside IR35 | High-Profile E-Commerce Business

Harvey Nash is working with a major name in the e-commerce space as they strengthen their disaster recovery capability across an estate spanning Azure, legacy .NET applications and modern headless commerce platforms.

This is a hands-on contract role focused on building, testing and embedding a robust disaster recovery framework across both cloud-native and legacy systems.

Things you will be doing:

• You'll be working across a broad stack including Azure infrastructure, legacy .NET applications and headless commerce platforms
• You'll liaise with software delivery teams to align DR planning with ongoing development and deployment
• You'll provide recommendations that balance resilience, cost, and complexity in a fast-paced environment
• You'll help uplift documentation and assurance across the estate

Experience of Interest:

• Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Strong Azure knowledge, particularly around resilience and failover in cloud/hybrid environments
• Experience supporting software delivery or application development environments
• Exposure to legacy .NET platforms and complex infrastructure estates
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, large-scale organisations
