Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Disrepair Manager to join an organisation based in Manchester on a temporary - permanent basis to manage their disrepair cases and supervise a team of Surveyors.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Disrepair Manager:

• Oversee the management of disrepair cases and supervise a team comprising surveyors and a disrepair officer.
• Attend court proceedings related to disrepair claims as necessary.
• Develop and implement processes aimed at mitigating future claims.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the various liabilities covered by the Housing Association.
• Audit survey reports from surveyors to ensure compliance with company protocols.
• Apply knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to disrepair, including Sections 9, 10, and 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
• Review the work of appointed contractors to ensure alignment with internal objectives.
• Ensure that all data is accurately recorded and maintained.

Essential Requirements of the Disrepair Manager:

• Extensive experience within Damp and Mould
