Job Title: Speciality Grade Doctor – Community Paediatrics
Location: Redbridge Community Paediatric Team, NELFT NHS Foundation Trust (Exact site details available on request)
Pay Rate: £80 per hour LTD (Inclusive via Direct Engagement)
Contract Type: Long-Term NHS Locum Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full-Time (Part-Time considered)Job Description:
We are recruiting for a committed and experienced Speciality Grade Doctor to join the Redbridge Community Paediatric Team on a long-term NHS contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting the health and developmental needs of children and young people in the community.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, consultant-led care, supporting safeguarding, developmental assessments, neuro-disability clinics, and contributing to EHCP processes.Key Responsibilities:

Undertake community paediatric assessments including developmental delay, autism, ADHD, and neuro-disability.
Support child protection medicals, Looked After Children assessments, and safeguarding work.
Work collaboratively with local authorities, educational settings, and allied health professionals.
Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and multidisciplinary planning meetings.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with local and national clinical governance standards.

Requirements:

GMC registration with license to practise.
Previous experience in Community Paediatrics at Specialty Doctor or equivalent level.
Knowledge of safeguarding, EHCPs, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Excellent communication and team-working skills.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Contract & Payment Details:

£80 per hour LTD (inclusive rate via Direct Engagement model)
Long-term contract with potential for extension
Supportive induction and clinical supervision available
