Job Description - Drama Teacher

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Drama in a school located in Southwark?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join one of our valued clients based in Southwark. This is a full-time, temporary role for the Autumn term, starting from 25th September - 13th November, with the possibility of extension. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

You will be teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 & 4, delivering inspiring lessons that develop students' confidence, creativity, and performance skills. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the cultural and creative life of the school.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  • Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 (applications welcomed from ECTs)
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Drama education
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to student achievement and fostering creativity

London MPS/UPS - dependent on experience.
