Driver (Goods & Materials)

Circa £14.50 per hour
Initially, a few weeks' contract

Certain Advantage is partnering with a shipbuilding company to recruit an experienced Driver to join a logistics team based in Port Glasgow. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and materials between two sites. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HGV to transport goods and materials
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to company sites
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Load and unload goods safely, securing cargo as required
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Liaise professionally with customers and site staff

Your Background:

• Experience driving an HGV
• Knowledge of UK road transport laws and regulations
• Good level of physical fitness (manual handling may be required
• Strong time management and communication skills
