Drop-Off Delivery Driver

Premier Work Support are recruiting for a Drop-Off Delivery Driver on a temporary basis for one of our long standing prestigious Clients based just outside of Horley, Surrey.

We are seeking a reliable and responsible 3.5 Tonne Delivery Drop-Off Driver to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5 tonne delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Verify delivery information, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain delivery logs and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping of deliveries and any issues encountered.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and organizing inventory.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery.

Requirements:

• Valid UK DVLA Driving Licence.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Working Hours:

• Start Time - 05:00AM
• 9 Hour Shift with a 45 minute lunch break.
