DV Cleared Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and DV-cleared Platform Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimise secure infrastructure platforms that support high-assurance systems. This role involves close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and automated environments that meet stringent performance and security standards.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of platform engineering—from initial design and provisioning to ongoing optimisation and monitoring—within a complex, secure, and highly regulated context.

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure platforms

• Automate the provisioning and management of systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Support containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security using modern observability tools

• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure seamless and secure delivery pipelines

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Manage secure configurations, patching, and system updates across environments

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues at scale

• Active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance is required

• Proven experience in platform or infrastructure engineering roles within secure or complex environments

• Strong skills in automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar

• Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows system administration

• Solid understanding of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)

• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

• Understanding of network and infrastructure security principles

• Experience working in high-assurance, compliance-driven sectors such as finance, energy, or aerospace

• Familiarity with secure cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices

• Experience with Zero Trust and secure identity/access management solutions

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA, Terraform Associate, AWS/Azure certifications)
