Salary: £100-£110 per day
Hours: 8:15am-4:00pm | Full-time, Term-Time Only

Are you fluent in Turkish and passionate about helping young people succeed in school?
We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Enfield looking for a Turkish-speaking EAL Support Assistant to join their team this September. This is an exciting opportunity to support students who are new to English and help them build the confidence and language skills they need to thrive.

As an EAL Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students whose first language is Turkish, helping them access the curriculum and develop their English skills. You'll support them in lessons, deliver targeted language sessions, and be a friendly, familiar face during a time of transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Turkish-speaking students in lessons across a range of subjects

• Provide 1:1 or small group English language support

• Translate instructions or tasks when needed to aid understanding

• Help students integrate into school life socially and academically

• Work closely with teachers and the EAL coordinator to monitor progress

• Speaks fluent Turkish and English

• Has experience working with young people (in school, tutoring, mentoring or similar)

• Is patient, approachable and able to build trust with students

• Understands the challenges faced by EAL learners

• Is organised, reliable and a strong communicator

• A supportive and inclusive school community

• Training and guidance from experienced staff
