EAL/ESL TA

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

A diverse and friendly primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an EAL Support Assistant to work with pupils who are new to English or still developing confidence in class.

You'll work across Year 1-Year 4, using visual resources, phonics-based support, and targeted group work.

Ideal candidate:

• Has strong spoken and written English
• Experience with EAL learners or multilingual themselves
• Positive, patient and engaging with children

This school has excellent training opportunities and is ideal for someone considering teaching or speech and language as a future path.
