Morgan Hunt is working in partnership with a college in the Peterborough area to recruit a Lecturer in Early Years. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality Early Years education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess Early Years courses from Levels 1 to 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet College and national standards.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student achievement.
• Design and maintain schemes of work and course materials.
• Carry out internal verification duties in line with awarding body requirements.
• Support students with academic tutorials and personal development.
• Work with employers to arrange and monitor work placements.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Participate in open events, interviews, and recruitment activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and achievement.

Requirements:

• Level 5 teaching qualification (or commitment to achieve within 3 years - College supported).
• Minimum Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years or a related subject.
• Assessor qualification (A1, TQA, or CAVA).
• Minimum Level 2 English and Maths.
• Recent, relevant industry experience in Early Years.
• Sound understanding of curriculum frameworks and sector developments.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to embed English, Maths, and digital skills into lessons.
