Early Years Teaching Assistant

Hays Education are working with a primary school in South Liverpool that is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join them from September. This will be a full-time temporary position. The role involves supporting the class teacher, managing behaviour, assisting in the general learning and development of the pupils and may include some personal care.

Your new role
-Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities -Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
-Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team
-Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
-Be comfortable assisting with personal care

What you'll need to succeed
-Full DBS on the update service -Knowledge of safeguarding
-Experience in an early years/nursery setting
-Level 2/3 early years qualification
-Full right to work in the UK
-Able to manage difficult behaviour
