Early Years Teaching Assistant

Randstad Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistants for primary schools across Blackburn, with immediate starts and roles available into the new academic year (September 2025).

We're looking for individuals with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework who can work in a general classroom capacity while supporting individual development. Whether you're after day-to-day flexibility or a longer-term role, we have opportunities to suit your availability and goals.

As an EYFS TA, you'll support early learning through engaging activities, foster a nurturing environment, and work closely with teaching staff to help children thrive.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting whole class, group, and 1:1 learning across the EYFS curriculum

• Helping with classroom routines and personal care

• Promoting positive behaviour and participation

• Contributing to learning plans and individual targets

• Assisting with classroom preparation and resources

• Providing regular feedback to teachers and support teams

• Collaborating with staff and external professionals

What We're Looking For:

• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or working towards it)

• Recent experience working in a Nursery or Reception setting

• A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable approach

• Good understanding of the EYFS framework

• Strong communication and teamworking skills

• Experience supporting SEN (desirable)
