Randstad Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants for a number of vibrant primary schools across Wigan, with immediate and September 2025 start dates available. Whether you're looking for short-term flexibility or a long-term placement, we have a variety of roles to suit your goals.

We are seeking individuals with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who can work in a general classroom capacity while also providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs. In this role, you'll be instrumental in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports pupils' growth, confidence, and development.

• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging classroom activities
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis
• Giving constructive feedback under the guidance of the class teacher
• Helping to create a supportive and interactive classroom environment
• Collaborating with teachers, TAs, and external professionals
• Monitoring and tracking pupil progress and wellbeing
• Supporting children's personal development, confidence, and independence

• A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or currently working towards one)
• Previous experience working with young children, ideally in Nursery or Reception
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Confidence managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
• Ability to build strong relationships and engage young learners
• Creativity, flexibility, and a proactive approach to classroom support
• Experience or knowledge of SEND is highly desirable
