This is an ideal opportunity for a mainstream-trained teacher who is looking to transition into special educational needs (SEN) and make a lasting impact in a more personalised, child-centred environment.
The school is looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with a view to offering a permanent contract following a successful initial period.
About the Role:You'll be teaching a small class of children aged 3-5 with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays. With the support of experienced teaching assistants and therapists, you'll plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning that meets each child's individual needs.
This is a rewarding role where you'll have the time and space to build strong relationships and celebrate every small step of progress.
What We're Looking For:Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Experience teaching in Early Years or Key Stage 1 (mainstream or SEN).A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.Desirable:
