EHS Manager

We are seeking a proficient EHS Manager to look after a large FMCG site near Wigan. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Description

The successful EHS Manager will:

• Work closely with Operational Managers and teams to improve and implement safe systems
• Collate safety data and complete management reviews of plans
• Deliver key training activities
• Ensure compliance to Country legislation
• Track and plan improvements to safety processes
• Maintain and where possible, improve the site's management system compliance
• Maximise regulatory compliance

Profile

The successful EHS Manager should have:

• Previously worked in a similar EHS role within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
• A NEBOSH or equivalent qualification - ESSENTIAL
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills - ESSENTIAL
• Good written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
• Worked within the FMCG sector - DESIRABLE

Job Offer

• 6 month contract
• An estimated salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
