This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong electrical construction background, ideally with experience working on substations, power infrastructure or similar projects. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical construction activities on site, managing teams and subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. The project involves LV electrical systems only – there will be no HV works. Key Responsibilities Managing electrical construction activities on site Supervising and coordinating electrical teams and subcontractors Overseeing LV electrical works Managing ITPs and ensuring quality requirements are met Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme Coordinating with project management and other site disciplines Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements Supporting the delivery and completion of works on a major substation project About You We are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with: Strong electrical construction experience Previous experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors Experience with ITPs and quality documentation A good understanding of LV electrical systems Substation or power infrastructure experience is highly desirable Strong site management and communication skills Ability to work away from home Monday–Friday Package £450 per shift + accommodation paid on top Weekly payments Outside IR35 1–2 year project Monday–Friday working pattern Accommodation provided Long-term project security If you’re an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with substation or power infrastructure experience and are interested in a long-term contract, please get in touch.
