Electrical Design Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join a leading construction and property services company on a long-term contract basis in Hertfordshire!

Our client is known for delivering high-quality, sustainable building projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial and public infrastructure and emphasise innovation, collaboration and environmental responsibility.

You will report directly to the MEP Technical Director/Directors and will be expected to work alongside all other design disciplines to ensure a coordinated approach to building design as well as the wider business units.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure.

- Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.

- Work with architects and engineers to integrate systems.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability targets.

- Support project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

- Working Knowledge in the use of Amtech , Dialux and Relux lighting software

- General Experience of working on a number of large multidiscipline projects across all market sectors with a particular focus on Education and Commercial

- Experience in electrical design (construction/infrastructure).

- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant software.

- Familiarity with UK regulations and standards.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- BIM experience and Chartered status (a bonus).
