Electrical Design Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join a specialist building services management contractor in London on a long term, outside IR35 contract basis.

Our client requires engineers to attend the Central London office on a weekly basis, to assist with several major commercial and mixed-use projects (RIBA stage 5 detailed design).

Key Responsibilities:

-Design electrical systems for commercial and mixed-use projects.

-Produce drawings, specs, and calculations using industry software.

-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

-Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams.

-Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

-Skilled in Amtech, and Dialux/Relux, with AutoCAD and Revit proficiency being beneficial.

-Must have detailed design experience (RIBA stage 5).

-Prior experience working for contractors.

-Good knowledge of British Standards and building regulations.

-Strong communication skills.
