Electrical Supervisor required for a Brownfield site in Clitheroe

Overview:

Representing the Electrical scope of the Project. Supervising all site works related to electrical, instrumentation &/or Automation works of the Filters project. Follow up on all contractors' construction works during plant operations and shutdowns. Full Adherence with the Industrial H&S requirements, policies, and practices

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for his H&S, the Contractors' H&S and supporting in enforcing all H&S precautions and standards at site at all times.
• Represents the Employer and reports to the Site Manager.
• Fully responsible for all the project's electrical construction works in terms of supervision, monitoring, auditing, enforcing remedial and rectifications as needed.
• Manage any Electrical engineering modifications, variations, etc. from site.
• Recommend electrical solutions or alterations, if needed.
• Ensure the quality of all site electrical Works in compliance to UK regulations, CDM procedures, design compliance and equipment parts as per specifications.
• Supports the health and safety, civil and mechanical inspectors to ensure the job is constructed according to contractual requirements, including conformance with established quality assurance/quality control procedures.
• Control the Electrical activities progress ensuring full compliance with targeted schedules during both operations and shutdowns.
• Lead the cold and hot tests while documenting the testing protocols and results.
• Willing to work during weekends if required.
• Knowledge of heavy industrial plants
• Knowledge of Installation of various electrical parts, including MCC, MV motors, etc.
