Electrician

• Pay Rate: £25.00 - £27.00 per hour

• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (4 - 5 months)

Bury Council is seeking a Qualified Electrician for a temporary full-time position lasting 4 - 5 months. This role involves carrying out a variety of electrical works including repairs, installations, and electrical testing. The successful candidate will be driving the council vehicle, hence a full UK Driving Licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience is essential.

• Conduct electrical installations and repairs across various council properties.
• Perform routine electrical testing to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations.

• Time-served Electrical Installation apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the electrical industry.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation certificate.
• AM2 certification.
• BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition certificate.
• City & Guilds 2391 full Inspection & Testing certificate.
• Full UK Driving Licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Working Hours Monday to Friday 8.00am - 16.30pm
