Job Description - Electrician

Electrician

Newbridge, Edinburgh

£30,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Permanent

Mon–Fri | 07:00–17:00 (1hr unpaid lunch) – 45 hours/week

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to support the electrical operations within a busy concrete manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role focusing on electrical installation, control systems, testing, and fault finding in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and maintain electrical systems within a factory setting
Fault finding and troubleshooting on industrial plant and machinery
Work on control panels, motors, sensors, and related equipment
Perform electrical testing and ensure compliance with safety standards
Respond to breakdowns and support ongoing maintenance

Requirements:

Fully qualified Electrician (SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong experience in a factory or heavy industrial setting
Competent in fault finding and working with control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
