Electrician

Newbridge, Edinburgh

£30,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Permanent

Mon–Fri | 07:00–17:00 (1hr unpaid lunch) – 45 hours/week

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to support the electrical operations within a busy concrete manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role focusing on electrical installation, control systems, testing, and fault finding in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems within a factory setting
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on industrial plant and machinery
  • Work on control panels, motors, sensors, and related equipment
  • Perform electrical testing and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Respond to breakdowns and support ongoing maintenance


Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Electrician (SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in a factory or heavy industrial setting
  • Competent in fault finding and working with control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
