Job Title: Competent Level 3 Electrician (Industrial Environment)

Location: Tower Bridge
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential for long-term placement

About the Role:

We are seeking a Level 3 Qualified Electrician with proven experience in large-scale industrial environments. This role requires a strong background in heating and ventilation systems, as well as the ability to work at heights and in dynamic, safety-critical settings.

In addition to core electrical responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be involved in public engagement, including guided tours of the bridge between November and March. This unique aspect of the role requires excellent communication skills and a confident, approachable demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings

Work with heating and ventilation systems

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, especially when working at heights

Conduct guided tours and provide informative walkthroughs of the bridge to visitors

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Participate in overtime work as required (paid at 1.5x rate)

Candidate Requirements:

Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)

Experience in large industrial environments

Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems

Comfortable working at heights

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to engage with the public and represent the organization positively
