Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrician’s Mate, you will:

• Assist qualified electricians with installation and wiring of electrical systems
• Help with organising tools and materials
• Perform basic tasks like running and dressing cables under supervision
• Ensure safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Learn, develop, and troubleshoot electrical systems with the guidance of our qualified electricians

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
• Good physical fitness, as the role requires manual labour
• A willingness to learn and grow within the electrical industry
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and equipment is advantageous
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ECS or CSCS card) are preferred but not essential
• Can-do attitude and readiness to work in challenging environments

Other Job Details:

• Location: Newark (Company is based in Leicester)
• Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (dependant on experience)
• Job Type: Full-Time; 45 hours a week Mon-Fri (weekends available)
