Help people rebuild their confidence and find work

Are you passionate about helping people overcome barriers to employment? Join a large, London charity based in Hounslow (with free parking!) that’s dedicated to supporting individuals who need that extra boost to get back into work.

As part of a vibrant and supportive team, you’ll work with 6–9 participants each day, offering one-to-one guidance that genuinely changes lives. Your clients may face challenges such as:

• English not being their first language
• Juggling caring responsibilities while looking for flexible or part-time roles
• Rebuilding confidence after a break from work or while managing a disability

You'll help them define their career goals and offer practical support including:

• Writing CVs and cover letters
• Searching and applying for jobs
• Interview preparation
• Better-off calculations to ensure roles make financial sense

Every day will bring something different. You might be helping someone plan a route to their interview, sourcing work attire, or speaking to local employers on a client’s behalf.

This role would suit someone with experience as an Employment Advisor or Careers Advisor. But we’d also love to hear from you if you’ve worked in similar people-supporting roles like Recruitment Consultant, Supported Housing Officer, or Hostel Worker.
