We're looking for two experienced Employment Advisors to join Bexley Council's Economic Development & Skills team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adult jobseekers-especially those out of work long-term-by helping them overcome barriers and achieve sustained employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied caseload and provide 1:1 job search support

• Develop tailored action plans and deliver job-readiness workshops (CVs, applications, interview skills)

• Deliver support under IPS and SEQF models

• Liaise with employers, training providers, and local partners

• Maintain accurate client records and report on outcomes

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in employment support, advice, or recruitment

• Strong understanding of employment barriers and the welfare-to-work landscape

• Excellent communication, motivation, and organisational skills

• Confident with Microsoft Office and client tracking systems

• Minimum GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent

Some out-of-hours work may be required to support events or client start dates.
