Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Employment Solicitor to support a well-established law firm in the North West. This temporary assignment offers flexible working arrangements, with the opportunity to contribute to a busy team during a period of increased demand. The role will focus on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including advisory work.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: North-West

Working Arrangement: Fully remote (full time)

Duration: 6-8 weeks with the possibility for extension

Rate: £45 – £50 per hour (Inside IR35, DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied Employment Law caseload, including both contentious matters and HR advisory work
• Advising clients on a range of issues including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, and contracts
• Drafting legal documents, employment contracts, and settlement agreements
• Representing clients in Employment Tribunal matters where required
• Providing clear, commercially-focused legal advice with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong Employment Law experience
• Confident managing a broad employment caseload independently
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Previous locum experience is desirable but not essential
