Job Title: Employment Solicitor - 12-Month FTC

Contract Length: 12 Months with potential of it going permanent

Location: Birmingham- 2 days in office and 3 days working from home

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum - Depending upon experience (Up to 4 years PQE)

Key responsibilities of an Employment Solicitor - 12-Month FTC:

• Managing Employment Tribunal claims for Respondents, including drafting, hearings prep, and advocacy where appropriate
• Advising on employment status, working arrangements, and TUPE transfers
• Supporting clients with employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, whistleblowing, and discrimination
• Advising on reorganisations, redundancies, and settlement agreements
• Building strong relationships with clients who are making a difference
• Drafting and advise on contracts, HR policies, and procedures

Essential Skills & Experience:

• From NQ to 4 years PQE
• Strong technical knowledge of employment law (both contentious and non-contentious)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach
