Energy Contracts Analyst S&T

My client a global leader in the Energy sector is seeking an Analyst for S&T Contracts division. This role is crucial for reviewing, validating, and generating trade confirmations across various commodities including Oil, Green Certificates and Gas.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Review and validate all S&T transactions by reconciling daily trade contractual terms against Trader recap/Broker recap, Counterparty confirmations.
• Resolve trade discrepancies no later than trade date plus 1 day.
• Generate and send sale and purchase confirmations
• Review confirmations received and counter
• Chase counterparties by email or phone if a confirmation has not been received by T2.
• File and label all contractual correspondence and email in our centralized repository following Documentation Retention Process.
• Run daily trade reports out of ETRM system
• Maintain Confirmation Team’s shared MS Outlook Mailbox, responding with timely accurate information to both external and internal customers.
• Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree level or equivalent level qualification.
• 2 years’ experience in Energy Contracts is preferable.
• International experience is preferable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Innovative in providing and addressing business needs in a changing environment.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to experiment and work with new technologies.
